First of all, congratulation to the impossible that you all have done.
Like many Johorean, I work in Singapore even since i finished my studies in UK. To give up my malaysian citizenship has come across my mind a couple of times, but i know i am a malaysian and i will always be. I love my country.
However, this is a beginning and this is not the end. Please make sure that you do your best and do not let the people who believed you down.
All the best.

You deserve what u get fully, you had sacrifice so much for politic and now you had achieve something which is "impossible". I am very glad that finally the people had spoken and make the correct decision. I hope that the new state government will show the BN how to run a fair society without race-based politics.

Winning in the election is not easy especially when you are from the opposition party. Congrats, Tony!
You have 5 years from now to prove yourself to the people who have elected you that they have made a correct decision. There will be ups and downs in your journey but I believe with your intelligence and aspiration, you will succeed.
Be humble, keep it up and hope to see you winning again in the next election.

New era starts for Makkal of Malaysia
And to Barisan Rakyat, the real work only begins now…

We all are in the Age of Light, the Time of Energy Surge, as the infrastructure and info technology have been evidently manifested throughout the Earth – to seek the Very Truth of who we are and what we are here for.

Sakti, the universal creative power, will prevail when one after another Light of everyone is on; and Light turns on Light.

Suggestion:
Penang and Selangor as the Island/State of Light, beacon of all Malaysians to see Hope, to regain Courage and to be Total-Freedom in ONEness.

Make both states the pivot of Human Rights and Mankind Consciousness in all possible aspects, as they now have a chance to lead Malaysians towards a multi-dimensional viewpoint and experiencing of what true meaning of Life is about: spirituality cum material.

Once, bravo to all courageous Souls!

If you want to have a better future for our children in Malaysia, do you part by signing the on-line petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/RCER2008/petition.html

This is one of the way (non-violence) to bring our message to the Government. Don’t just sit there, stand up and be counted!

Why do we need to reform the Election Commission?

1) Gerrymandering. The discrepancy between number of voters in voting areas is too great. The smallest parliamentary seat (Federal Territory, Putrajaya) has only 6,608 voters while the parliamentary seat for Kapar in Selangor has 112,224 voters. What this means is that one vote in the Putrajaya parliamentary constituency is equivalent to 17 votes in the Kapar constituency.

2) Phantom voters. A common tactic is to ‘buy’ the identity card of the voters. Party members from the ruling parties will then vote on the voters’ behalf. Random checking of a person’s identity must be conducted using those finger print checking device (like the bank use). Any voting done on another person’s identity must be made a serious offence under the election law.

3) Postal votes. The rules on postal voting must be reviewed, tightened and amended. The current rule favours the ruling party as the armed forces personnel and policemen who vote by ‘postal voting’ would obviously not jeopardize their career or promotion prospect by voting for the opposition. Voting under postal voting is not secret as it is under the watchful eyes of the senior officers.
